Anyone looking forward to this?

Early access starts tomorrow 7th September at 9am.

Visually looks great. Mechanics seem polished.
Sharkmob is a group of developers that originally worked on ubisoft titles such as the division. They then got bought by Tencent and now located in London.

Just had a quick couple of matches on it, seems to be fun. Knocked it up to ultra settings and it runs smooth too.

Make sure to turn off chromatic aberration, motion blur and film grain. Looks much better.

I sunk a few hours in this last night. The archetypes are quite varied. I'm tending to switch between the Prowler (inv, bats) and Muse (healer).

Also game doesn't make it obvious but you can revive your entire team at the cross/circle markers on the map.

I don't normally play solo in BR games but enjoying it here.

Yea but it works in this instance. Lots of verticality.

can't be doing with peekers advantage in tpp.
though as you say it's free so might as well have a rip at it. gotta say it looks awesome, if a tad warzoney. i do like the 'world' it's set in.

Definitely not like warzone! The combat is a bit like fortnite actually albeit more depth and no building.

Early impressions……I’m liking this. Would still prefer fpp over tpp but I can live with it. Some nice touches and ideas.

The assault rifle seems to be the go to weapon combined with something short-ranged as most fights tend to end up being close and personal.

The purple samurai sword and dual blades each have secondary special abilities. Sword will deflect bullets when holding RM. Blades do a lunging attack with RM click.

i like it but it definitely needs a fpp option (imo) i'd probably happily spend a few quid on it if that was added. without that it just feels a bit of light hearted fun rather than a serious, competitive game.

I've been waiting for this sequel for a long time. I'm not impressed it is early access, making consumers test the game is worrying because it is instilling the belief bugs are okay. I'm surprised there wasn't more hype for this considering how loved the original was.

Seem to be a lot of people complaining about the chinese anti cheat being able to have kernel control over everything on your computer.

edit:nvm I thought it was vampire the masquerade 2 lol

not for the first time - the crowd that owns the dev team, Tencent, were connected to the Ring of Elysium game and that was met with similar concerns.

Interesting, I'm not sure I'm happy with such a system running after the game has been closed though.

there's a definite warzone vibe to it, hell the armour placement animation is almost a straight copy!

getting Apex legends vibes from it too, movement, placement and use of abilities is vital, probably more so than the weapon being used.

i do like the big ass sniper rifle - that smacks the crap outta folks!

Anti-Cheat bugs

We have identified two bugs with our anti-cheat software. The issues are related to the anti-cheat sometimes still running after the game client has exited and a few files still being left after the game has been uninstalled. We are working hard to resolve this and hope to have it fixed as soon as we can.
