Bloody Brilliant - Working Bank Holiday Monday...

Working 12-6pm in the lowly halfrods!

Its typical for every asshat in britain to decide to come and get a helmet for their son.....but want it to fit.....but wont measure his head...... then moan that i dont recomend she buy it. Good grief. No doubt some poor guy will come in with the bike he bought in a box all built up the wrong way so i'll spend 10 minutes i dont have fixing it all up..... :o I love having a crap job, makes me more motivated to go to uni and get a better one!

I didn't even realise it was a bank holiday on Monday, the joys of no public holiday leave entitlement :p
I think I'm working, don't know and don't care :D

Heh, soon I will have that same experience

You'll lose complete track of time. You won't know what day of the week it is and you probably won't even know about bank holidays and other public holidays. Sure I didn't even realise it was Easter until I spotted a thread on here :p

The copious days off make up for it though :D

Thats only the problem with shift work. When you're starting work one day and going home the next and you work weekends too, the days of the week have less meaning. Bank holidays are just another 24 hours to fit a shift rota into. But yeah the extra time off and the money make up for it.

I do get payed loads for Monday though, on top of my normal salery I get 8 hours standard time + double time for the hours I work.... but only because we don't get bank holidays off, ever

im getting paid to do 4 hours of work on mon but can leave as soon as i finish which at most takes me an hour, and cos its mon i get double pay, and cos im not supposed to work i get time and a half, so in the end i get paid £108 for doing 1 hours work, seems good to me. anyone work out how much i get par hour?
