Download blue screen view and post the driver. I was getting theses bsod it turned out to be a stick of RAM am using same board and from what I read asrock don't like corsair RAM to well. So I then replaced it with Ram that was on Asrocks Ram list and PC has been fine since.
You could also make sure you have correct Ram timings and voltage in Bios for your Ram could just be a setting issue.

ok i am a total novice what is blue screen view and will this elp me ? also i dont know ow to check temps etc and avnt ran any tests, i always install latest updates etc and my build has never been touched since i built it, it only happens when leave it on for hours and hours, left downloading today and when got home same blue screen was on

thanks Dean sorry if newb questions lol

also i have installed blue screen view but not sure how to work or what exactly it does

no not when using as just set downloads away then leave it and not sure if using latest bios how do i tell ? and what is idk ?

Thanks wazza

Sorry for computer talk,Idk means I don't know, not sure on BIOS version but it will probably tell you in the BIOS pages somwhere, look on asrock site for latest BIOS,id update that before moving on to other things

i will check on asrock website and try that then report back

cheers

Latest bios is 1.20 if you haven't touched your bios for update chances are you using 1.00 or 1.10....
Run blue screen view and if driver is listed it will be in RED see image. If yours looks simpler to mine I bet its same problem I had with my corsair RAM, to check you will need to download and burn to a cd Memtest86 you then boot from the disk like you did when installing windows.
If errors are found your RAM is damaged Since your BSOD is random I recommend running it over night for good test. Since I have replaced my RAM with some that is on Asrocks RAM list I haven't had a single issue.. Please NOTE if you happen to pick same RAM has me dont run it at stock voltage 1.65v run it at 1.575v (just a heads up) :)

Is sleep on?

I used to have this problem, it turned out to be a combination of some Ctsattes/sleep and the voltage in said states making the system unstable and blue screening. It was dropping far too low, hence the crash.

Are you using a manual or auto offset on the CPU voltage?

According to microsoft
Stop error code 0x0000003B (SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION) on a computer that is running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2 when you use some IEEE 1394 devices

This issue occurs because of an error in the Microsoft IEEE 1394 driver stack, in which the buffer that is allocated to the driver stack does not initialize correctly.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/980932

To me that would suggest that Sin Chase is on the right tracks
It would look to me too exactly like a problem being initiated by some kind of power saving mode either on the USB ports or on the firewire ports
What I would do is to right click "my computer" and then I would click "manage" and have a look at the error logs to see what other errors and at what point in the sequence of events the bluescreen happens,

However experience also tells me that it may not be that simple. It will have a simple solution but not a simple diagnosis
One thing you should do in a situation like this is to use windows update and get the latest patches and fixes
it will also update the drivers
but essentially I would say this is something to do with either powersaving or some task that is set to automatically run in the background
that is starting up and then encountering some kind of issue with some windows file or process

google this "0x0000003B" and the make and model of your motherboard
that will take you even further toward a fix

ok thanks a lot for the hep so far, ok so i checked in advanced sleep options and it says turn off hard dis after - 20 mins so i changed to never could this be the cause ? when i download it is on longer than that cause i was coming in and checking,i also changed the sleep setting to never.

In the blue screen view the same one as in the pic is red the one with ntoskrnl.exe what exactly does this mean and should i run some tests ?

also i dont have a clue about the manual or auto ofset on cpu voltages i havnt overclocked and changed any voltages etc ( i am wanting to learn all this as want to over clock after sorted this problem)

Many thanks Dean

From my experience a 0x00 error is hardware not software, been there and done all that. Its is RAM that at fault and needs to run Memtest to prove it is.
