Type_R said:When u have filled in ** email addy, then click go, and it will take u to terms and conditions. It will then tell u the price. As in my post, it said £50, so I cancelled and it said no upgrade was done.
smellster said:Hmmm not sure about this.... try this page then, it's the 'change my services for existing customers page' it also comes up with £35 for Broadband Elite 4Mb. It does for me anyway. Hope they don't try and charge me £50.
Vertigo1 said:I've been advised by a CS rep that, despite the £35 on that page, you'd actually get charged £50 if you used it to upgrade. Whether this is true or not is anyone's guess. Basically upgrading to 4Mb right now is a gamble. You might get charged £50, you might get charged £35.

'Having seen some of the threads in here I thought it would be
worthwhile to clarify the position on pricing.
All existing blueyonder elite customers, regardless of region, will
see the new prices in their bills for November services. Due to the
quantity of bills, bills are sent out gradually over a month. Bills
with the new prices will start being sent out from October 25.
We are aware that selfcare is yet to be updated with the new pricing.
Ideally this would have been updated at the same time as the
'evenfaster' page on the website, which is the place to go to answer
your questions on the speed uplifts. Unfortunately the update to
selfcare has been delayed due to some implementation issues, and this
should be updated within the next week.
Any customers who have not yet had their speed uplifts and choose to
upgrade to the top blueyonder elite tier (4Mb) via selfcare will take
advantage of the new £35 price for the blueyonder elite service.
More information on the speed uplifts can be found at

Tried&Tested said:2mb doesnt go up to 10mb
Tried&Tested said:Ooh, didnt realise. Hardly 'fair' to those paying for the 4meg for the last however-many months. Maybe they should have had 12 or 16meg.
Tried&Tested said:Hold on..paying £50 a month for 4meg vs whatever the price was for 2meg. Yet both get upgraded to 10meg and are then paying the same.
Confusing myself i think here. But it doesnt seem very fair to me.
Yes, but as I posted in the newsgroup, the two following paragraphs contradict each other. The first says you won't see the new prices until the November bill, whilst the second says you'll get the new price straight away.smellster said:This was posted on blueyonder.discussion.hi-speed earlier today so hopefully won't get screwed for £50, I certainly will kick up up a fuss if I do :
