No scheduled maintenance after tomorrow by BY. Which can only mean 10 mbit is very close!

There's virtually no maintenance on the status list. I think every upgrade has been done for the Knowsley area. Hopefully we'll have our upgrade soon.

I'm in Knowsley to and I think your right about all our upgrades being finished. On the evenfaster page it says expect disruption to your service up until November 7th. Judging by other areas it usualy takes one to two weeks until you get your speed increase after all your upgrades are finished, so we could still have to wait until the 21st.

well the UBRs were upgraded on Staverton lines a week and a half ago, no speed increases yet

ubr was upgraded a week and a half ago.. *fingers crossed for this week*

Enfield just upgraded (North London)

Woohoo! 4Mbit now (from 1Mbit), upload trebled!! nice!

Downstream 3852 Kbps (481.5 KB/sec) 4160 Kbps (inc. overheads)
Upstream 366 Kbps (45.8 KB/sec) 395 Kbps (inc. overheads)

They must have done our UBR aswell as it caused the STB downstairs to perform a full factory reset.

I'm not talking about a simple power cycle here either, the damn thing reset all its parameters, including 4:3 mode instead of widescreen and most annoyingly, composite output instead of RGB, meaning my media box received no picture until I realised a day later.

The website has been updated today, with all listed areas now showing UBR upgrades as complete and the North London areas done yesterday showing as completed on the ugpgrade side too.

Birmingham still showing tba though, which doesn't look promising. I suspect there's some problem somewhere which is holding things up
