BMW 730d: Thoughts

Here is one I took at the dealers, oddly it looks identical to BMW's launch shots, amazing that.

One thing that does annoy me, keyless cars as all you then have to do is find somewhere to put the keys so they don't rattle and you don't walk off and forget them.

What is it like around town?
Easy to park, drive around etc, or is it a bit more challenging?

Lovely car. Wrong engine though.
You want the 750i with the 4.4L TT V8. Hopefully that will be my next car if I can find one.

In the first pic I'm impressed with the straight lines on the grass must have been difficult looks like there's quite a camber in places. Also it looks like there is a 7 series parked in the distance but hard to tell from so far away.

Go drive the diesel, it's got more than enough power really, suits the car much more than it did in the last model.

Very nice, I do like the F01/02 7 series a lot, big improvement on the E60/65. The one you drove had the right colour combo imo anyway, not that, that makes the slightest bit of difference to the drive :p

Hehe looking at your nav screen your getting into my kneck of the woods, Earlswood and Tanworth in Arden etc. Well actually I live north-west of Reditch not north-east, but your in the right sort of area, I have a lot of family over that way anyway.

I wasn't blown away by the 530d tbh, but the 535d is ridiculously fast. (40d in F01, X5 and X6)
It's obviously a diesel at idle, but once on the move it sounds pretty good.
