If it’s got business nav it’s a straight swap. It would work without coding but ideally you would want to code it properly, the software for this is free.
You can get the parts for around £600-700 or pay a company to fit & code for around 1k. Camera would be around £300-400 in parts.

Cheers! Must admit I was trying to get a black one, but then I did prefer the black grills which wouldn't have stood out. Got a few cosmetic tweaks planned, firstly the grey wing mirrors need to be darker. Then I'll consider some M performance parts, not really bothered about the front splitter or side skirts but the diffuser looks nice.

Are you planning on fitting the LCI facelift indicators? Also check out MHD! Great application, that has the best tunes for the N54 engine, and lets you tune the exhaust burble, and other things via an android device and OBD cable. Nice car!
It's the N55 in mine, does the MHD application still apply?
I've looked up the LCI but can only really find info about the headlight changes. Got any links to the indicators you mentioned?

Took my M4 F83 (convertible) out on track. And it was bloody good fun. Might be the heavier convertible, but I had a great time, and it's not like it spends that much time on track compared to cruising / on roads etc.

nice - mind me asking what was the cost for this/insurance situation etc. Been tempted to take my Golf Gti to Knockhill but never sure about the insurance. Do you need a helmet etc?

Track day cost will be anything from ~£150-£1000 depending on organiser, location and number of spaces.
On top of this you need to factor in the additional wear & tear, especially tyres & brakes, but also suspension components, clutch, and to a degree "non-consumables" such as your gearbox & engine. Typically 5 miles on track is probably the wear & tear equivalent of 3-5000 miles on the road.
If you're driving a road car on a track day then normally the best way is to go out on a gentle warm up lap, then do 5-15 fast laps (dependent on circuit length), followed by a cool down lap or two then park up and let everything cool down (not TOO much) for say 30-60 minutes before going out again.
You always have to wear a helmet for track days. Most will also mandate long sleeve tops and trousers (as opposed to t-shirts & shorts).
Some specialist insurers will offer or include track day cover on certain types of cars for a limited number of track days per year, but generally the excesses are high (£2000+). You can buy dedicated track day cover, but that is also expensive and carries a high excess. Insurance will cover only your car.

I'm the opposite, been driving hatchbacks and saloons for the last 8 years, and now getting used to everything being so raw.
Just remembered I hadn't posted any photos of my Z4.
As soon as I got it home weekend before last.
After an exterior wash and interior clean.
Great car, my 35iS was the same colour combo, loved it. Enjoy!
Check out the RevLimits track days (facebook) - this one was £90 for 2 hours. Helmet hire is free, though I have my own. Ideally you want decent brake pads and change the fluid for something decent, otherwise your good to go. Insurance, didn't bother with it personally, but I did get a quote for £230 on 'insuremytrackday' or something similar.
Hey chaps, didn't really want to open a separate thread so decided to ask here.
My E92 M3 has had the GTS Software + Stage 2 to go with the decat. Ever since I got the stage 2 + gts done the car seems to "thump/jolt" for a split second if I'm at high speed/rev and get off the throttle completely and back on right away. If I get off but let it go down in speed to around 70mph or 3k rpm the thump doesn't occur. Is this a characteristic of the GTS software as it does kick harder when upshifting which I've heard is normal.
I'm aware that the GTS software basically reduces clutch slip and thus causing the harder upshifts but I don't see why it would thump/jolt like that when off throttle then back on. I don't think it's engine/gearbox mounts as it would occur everytime, not just over a certain speed, which is what kind of leads me to believe it's computer controlled.
Basically it feels as if the car disengages the diff when I let go then it re-engages it when I get back on throttle.

GTS is know for this. It has a bigger clutch pack on the DCT so changes are more fierce. What it’s sounds like is the car is going into neutral too early.
Is the lurch like when you are coming to a stop and then change your mind and boot it? The clutch has to engage quickly hence the jolt
DCT need driving like a manual and understanding of the box. You can’t really drive like a auto with toque converter. The ‘Dual clutch’ term is misleading. It’s basically two manual gearboxes working together with electronic control.
Also which D and S mode are you in? Try D5
