Got a bit of a burning rubbery smell from the passenger side rear of our 320d F31, doesnt seem to be a stuck caliper as no noise or excess heat on the discs and nothing that I can see dragging. No noticeable extra road noise, braking, power or steering differences, just the smell. Any ideas? Worth taking it in to BMW to see what they say? About 4 or 5 months warranty left at present. Guessing this may be the dpf regen actually based on when it's happening?

Had a photoshoot of my M4 with my mate's new Supra (which is very BMW as most know)

Warning - pic spam, most will hate, but it's a BMW, it's a BMW thread, so there you go :)

How good do pro photographers make cars look :)
Lovely motors, M4 for me though.

Remap done today on the 430D
Rolling road figures as follows

Original output
261bhp 563nm

Post Remap
314bhp 654nm

Power delivery feels as smooth as stock but mid range performance has that little extra kick which is what I was looking for

Overall happy enough, will give the car a proper run out over the next few days.

Don't forget the M Sport Edition model which literally adds alloy wheels with 'M Sport Edition' written on them.

Because that's where we are now in the brand new car market - the BMW 5 series is now styled to suit the guy who was parked in McDonald's carpark in his Corsa 20 years ago.

Likely doing a DPF regen, smell should have cleared the next time you used the car.

Sign of the times. All about the badges when my generation were all about removing them to look better than it was or if you are cool, like a lad from BM3W, you put a 316 badge on your CSL.
