Wow good video. Could have been very nasty if the police car which got into a spin was hit by the other police car - I have only ever seen one video like that in which the police did not win, and that was when the person getting away was on a motorcycle. Trying to out run the police, from what I have seen is a waste of petrol and time.
 
If the kid in the BMW was driving over here in the UK, I think he would have got away a lot easier, since our Police drivers wouldn't even attempt to drive like they do over in the US!
 
When that cop lost it did you see he was inches from hitting the other cop car?

Also, why didn't the cop brake instead of swerve?

edit: just to clarify, don't believe the BMW broke down. This was a well known case where he got away, but being COPS they can never let the bad guy get away can they!

Edit 2: notice when they say the BMW broke down there is no time on screen whereas every other screen has tghe exact time? It's because the bit where he 'Broke down' is actually a video from a bit earlier on in the chase.

The best clip was Pat chasing a joyrider, joyrider crashes, jumps out and Pat runs him down. The look of fear on the guys face and the anger on Pat's was priceless.
 
I have a videos somewhere of supercop.

Car chase is going on and the cop starts taking shots, then jumps over to the other vehicle and throws the driver out of his own car if I recall correctly.
 
You will notice that at the end when he "breaks down" is actually a scene from earlier in the video where he actually breaks hard, So he deffo got away eventually I'd say :)

It's not good when they have to lie about catching scum
