Now I understand how people feel when I tell them about my PC specs

BMX was great when I was young (23 now). I snapped mine though, and never bothered since.

I was thinking about taking it up again and thought I'd look a plank. I reckon Trials is where it's at:

C'mon scuzi, did the bike arrive? How does it ride? I wanna know!!!

It's the Christmas holiday period. I doubt it has even been sent out yet:p

I'll have pics up as soon as it arrives. I'll also post from the hospital when I inevitably injure myself.

I got a wethepeople trust at the start of summer. after a 3 yr break, Got my wallride 180's back and a few other tricks.. but my back gives me loads of problems now :( had to take a few days off of work with it.. so not sure ill be able to continue.

Check out best trick comps etc on youtube :)

Use to ride BMX all the time, up until about 19 tbf, progessed onto it after 26" trials, use to be basically my life. Rode quite regularly at Epic skatepark (Bham), Redditch and Stratford-upon-Avon, met Eddie Tongue and a few other famous BMXers a couple of times. You can see me in the background of a bmx video called Cassette LOL. :D

It arrived yesterday and I spent most of the day trying to put it together. I eventually got round to it and after a bottle of port and a few tins of beer last night I took ti for it's maiden voyage. Not the best idea to take it down a flight of stone steps straight away but I must say, I had fun bouncing my face off the ground.

But yeah, I love it. I can't do any tricks or anything and I doubt I ever will be able to but it's still a laugh to ride it:D

When I lived in Moira, we had a wicked set of trails built in the local park near the back. If you've ever been in Moira park, it was in the ditches by the middle gate into the park (to the left of the park if you were standing on the football pitches). For years we rode in summer sun, shaped and built in winter in the rain and snow. Then one year we came down to find the council had plowed them... my mate actually went down to ride in the early morning and the digger was just finishing up. Not a damn thing he could do.

There was another set of trails at the "sandies", out the back of Lisburn somewhere, for the life of me I couldn't give you directions to it now, all I remember is it was a hot spot for joyriders to ditch and burn stolen motors.
