Bone Marrow

I haven't eaten it straight out of the bone, but when I do lamb shanks, I scoop it out and mix it into the sauce. Makes it extra delicious.

Oh god, was that good? It looks epic!

you have no idea. :)

i can still taste it now.

although i rate the bonemarrow and steak better at The Hawksmoore and Gaucho

Barbacoa was nice, but i'm not a huge fan of the charcoal taste.

Oh yeah. I'll eat it. Made gravy with it in before.

Eaten it straight from the bone too. Needs to be fresh ideally for that. Split the bone and slurp away.

I had bone marrow for the first time last month, pig marrow with snails on it. A very tasty winner but oh my goodness very oily.

If you soak the bones in salt water for 24 hours it will draw any blood out and you get left with white marrow. One of the chefs on the 'Perfect' cooking prog did them yesterday with a beef dish. Looked fantastic.
