Bonnet gaps

How long have you been there J?

When I got made redundant from my old job (1 month short of being there for 2 years) they gave me nothing. I worked my ******* off for that place.

2 years mate. I've looked in the company policy/handbook. They HAVE to give me something....we'll see. I'll probs get £40 and a gift basket knowing my luck :p

...and i thought my brother was bad for pinching £20 from me!

What on earth posessed him to steal something like that from his own brother?

Is it all genuine stuff that was put back on? I had a pattern bonnet on my Saxo when it was repaired, fit was truely terrible and the lines never did meet.

All genuine stuff dude, don't think the pattern was released to anyone...hence why body panels are so hard to get hold of!

Sitting around waiting for a courier to arrive with a few bits so I can get started on the car...rang them and they said a delivery of up to 17:30.

What a waste of a day so far :(

yeah, there was a thread where I posted all the details not so long ago, lemme find it.

Gah, can't find it. Long story short my brother stole it, wrote it off, Dad recovered it, cousin repaired it. Got it back a day or so before the RR.

hmm this is almost like my mate in work Dan.... his brother stole his mum/dads ZR and wrote it off... and it was the same colour....hmmm who are you? lol

Right, courier finally turned up at 3. SO I fitted the inlet manifold, tested it and had the car running by 4. Not bad!! And the car is an absolute animal now its running at full steam again :D

By the time I was ready to fit my induction it was half 4, this gave me an hour before the yard/workshop was shut...so I went for it.....long story short, it's a rushed job and the cold air feed hasn't been run properly...and I need some custom piping made up. I'm going to get the custom piping on Saturday and do the CAF properly, and secure the induction better as well, leaving me with a neater install and much better gains :)

For 2 and a half hours work....not bad though :) Well happy! Will attack the panel gaps on the weekend.

Wow  You've really mellowed out since the last Rover thread!

Compared to what it used to be like I think the Forum has calmed down a tad since we have a few more Rover owners on here now :)

Plus yours and Berger's cars would show up or give a lot of cars here a run for their money.
