agreed, World War Z is an amazing book but I dont think it could be made into a film that remotely followed the book.

Two war films which immediately spring to mind; When compared to the books, are miles apart.

Se7en - One of the most accurate book/films in my opinion.

The Power of One is an amazing book (probably my all time favourite) and the film is a pile of insert word here.

Philip K dick has some short stories that have made great films. Minority Report for example is only a very short story that was fleshed out I not a great film imo by Spielberg.

Imposter was a great shirt story that made a really **** film.
