Hey all,

wanted to know if anyone could shed any light on to what this could be?

on book off my windows 7 rig it keeps locking up freezing and maxing out the cpu =/

but i do not have any programs that boot with the system apart from the ultra needed ones, i really cant see why it would need 100% cpa or to why it locks up and wont let me do anything until it crashes

at its heart is a i7-3770K so i cant see why it would need 3.50mhx to boot unless it was planning on taking off!

The CPU will run at max until it gets to the desktop then starts to slow itself down (speedstep)

As for the freezing, everything at stock? RAM set correctly (timings, speed and volts)?

32gb of Samsung green? they 8gb sticks?

you might need latest bios or beta bios for those as they improved the compatibility with that ram in recent bios's

freezing can be memory related

f19h is latest beta for that board, manually set dram voltage to 1.55v and vcore voltage response to fast and pwm phase control to extreme

that will help further with stability
