Hi guys i have a serious problem.My hard drives were faulty so I formatted them.As I tried to install windows,an error comes up saying "bootmgr is missing,press ctrl+alt+del to restart".

What do I do?

Disconnect all the extra drives and re-install windows, it is notorious for installing the bootloader onto a different drive than the one you are installing windows on.

Could try inserting your Windows disk, booting from it selecting the "Repair windows" option. And then access the cmd window.

Enter "bootrec.exe /FixBoot" followed by "bootrec.exe /FixMbr". Should repair all the damaged boot files.

Check in your BIOS also.. as sometimes my PC decides that it wants to reorder my boot discs..
