Any tips for Borderlands 2, ultimate vaulthunter mode, I'm finding it very tough at the moment. I play solo a lot of the time as I have a bad internet connection when away from home but I do get to play online sometimes.

I play about 50% of the time with only mobile tethering available which can be quite bad and also has data usage limits.

You've really got to farm for your legendaries before heading to UVHM. It'll seem redundant past a point, but it really helps you get your feet off the ground in those first 5 or so levels. Get yourself a Bee Shield and a Sandhawk, thank me later :P

Any idea where I can get them, I managed to get an infinity gun but it isn't that powerful, does help a bit though.
Thanks for the help, youtube showed me where to get a Bee shield, the one I got has a very low shield value but the amp damage is a huge bonus. Now to find a Sandhawk.

I have just downloaded it and trying it now, following tutorial but getting reencode error, it looks too easy to get good stuff too, may make the game too easy.

You probably know this but S.l.a.g (**** - Still censored :p) and critical hits are vital in UVHM. If you haven't already, go back to TVHM and farm a S.l.a.g.g.a from the Hodunk's. You'll need to do the Clan Wars quest line to farm them. If you've already done this and sided with them so you can't farm it just used gibbed to get it honestly. Don't worry about damage or level, you'll only be using it to **** enemies and then switch to a better damage weapon.

Yeah I have noticed thanks, I have got a pretty good s.l.a.g. SMG, I don't even need to switch weapons most of the time, think someone dropped it for me in multiplayer (got it after initial post).

It's nails hard. Playing with others even though it adds a multiplier to the difficulty, makes it better.

God I miss this game, played 140 hours with 2 of my RL friends and finished everything, including the DLCs. I have under 10 achievements left to get, I might fire it up one day and try to 100%.

Bee shield, s.l.a.g.g.a and a conference call shot gun.

Though yes easier with friends, uvhm is a toughie, you'll want a good corrosive weapon too for the loaders.

If you want easier legendary weapons but don't want to just add them to your player, try adjusting the rarity multipliers, that way you'll still have to find weapons from drops or loot boxes.

Banged about 300 hours into this, wish they'd give us some info on BL3.

Try farming a Double Penetrating Unkempt Harold. If you have the Tiny Tina DLC get the Grog Nozzle from Claptrap but don't finish the quest. The Kitten assault rifle is another good one though you'll have to reset the quest to get all the types. Moxxi weapons are a godsend when playing solo as they heal you - look up the Kittenzerker build.

If you are level 62+ head out to the Dust and farm spiderants until you get a Tubby which drops one of the Legendary X class mods.

In addition to the Bee shield you should get yourself the Neogenator or Evolution, the Flames of the Firehawk shield, and possibly the Bulwark.

Yes I clearly remember the pain of UVHM – if you don’t have the right legendary weapons – and a few of them, it is just not fun solo. It’s why I stop playing BL2 everytime I get back into it. Forget about your normal wepaons – it doesn’t matter how OP they were up until the end of TVHM, they are puny pea-shooters even at the start of UVHM. Legendary weapons are required.

Slagga + Unkempt Harold will get you through most of the initial pain until you start getting some more good weapons. Bee can also be a big help obviously.

UVHM is fine as Salvador, decent as Maya, and not so fun as Axton or Zero. I've not tried playing the other two.
