The only thing with not installing a rainy day game is by the time you've got it downloading the suns come out again.
 
I have just started playing this properly in single player after getting it in the xmas sale.....utterly brilliant and it still looks VERY pretty maxed out too.

for me its a great game, and easily worth the money! I am going to get the DLC four pack now, seems a nutty price.
 
Borderlands is a great game in my view, I have 150 hours playtime according to steam :)
What I would say tho is that if you do every mission on the first play through you can easy end up over leveling for the main story progression missions, making the last sections a bit trivial.
I played through with a friend in co-op on my first play through and it was a blast, I then made another character and followed this guide and it kept the fights challenging all the way through. http://gbxforums.gearboxsoftware.com/showthread.php?t=112350

There was, two in fact from two seperate sellers but they've both "sold out".
 
Bah what other games have I missed? Saw the Bioshock deal but thats the only one...

Thankfully Ive already got Borderlands with all the DLC :)

I got a 4 pack of the GOTY edition, will be making a thread shortly. Just going to check round my friends to see who wants one.
 
The GOTY edition comes with a semi useful map, in a quite user friendly fashion its hidden in:

C:\Steam\steamapps\common\borderlands\PandoraMap\BL_GOTY_Pandora_Map.pdf

The steam offer has passed now I believe, next time this happens remember that you don't need to buy through steam, you can just go the steam website and login then order through the site.

edit: no the offer is still going I think, my bad.
