I wasn't going to get this, but the giant bombcast made me want to get it.

Dunno if i'll get the PS3 version or the 360 version.
 
So what is the solo experience like on this game? I'm going to get the 360 version tomorrow and will play MP but would like a decent SP experience too. Is the story pretty strong or is the game mostly about the team based combat?

There is a storyline but it's to quote a review "buried pretty deep". It runs throughout the game but isn't a real strong driver.

This really is a loot game, like Diablo. The main drive is getting better weapons etc and taking on the bad guys. It's fine in Single Player but coop is much tougher as me and Teyasai (greenyfastcar) found out tonight.
 
Hello all yea this game looks so awesome i cant wait to play it in a few hours time :) anyway i should be on for a while friday evening and most of saturday i have a semi - relaxed attitude to gaming so if you want add here is my GT: CGXP.
 
This game can't be good too.. uncharted 2, forza 3, mw2, l4d2, assasins creed 2.. I can't play them all.. :(
 
Picking this up tonight, only heard of it today but appeals to me greatly as I used to be a hardcore L2 player on the pc and love shooters, and this is a dumbed down version of both

Watched a video review the other night and although the RPG elements dont really interest me it looks as though they're fairly easy to just ignore making this more of a traditional FPS

Still cant warrant the purchase what with Uncharted 2 taking up all my free time MW2 out in a couple of weeks

I am 90% certain I read some angry comments in the PS blog saying there were some serious issues on the PS3 version, so be wary or do some research if getting on PS3.
