EDIT: what class are people playing and how are you finding it?

I'm playing the soilder due to it being the obvious and most basic of classes just so I can play through and get to know the game, it's fun but assault rifles are pretty rare compared to other weapons...

Its not something you can spend a few days with and get the best out of it. On the other hand it's a bit of a marmite title.

Rent it knowing if you like it you'll end up buying it.

Done, now lvl 19 and just running through side missions after defeating the sledge hammer dude.

Love this game, but early start tomorrow so will have to stop playing

100hrs of Gameplay for the 1st playthrough if you do all sidequests apparently, average finish level is Level 30. Leaving another 20ish levels for further playthroughs.

Gotta be a purchase tbh, rental wouldn't do it justice.

im playing as a soldier too and i agree that its very rare to find an assault rifle. although i've found 2 or 3 good ones! luckily shotguns are quite common so i've had to use them instead! =)

I'm still in the first area'ish' doing side quests lol.

Lvl 19, almost 20, so either I am lvling too fast or the game is smaller than I thought, so far, I have been to places that are only desert driven... Is there any more than that?

I'm a bit confused by your use of the word playthrough. Does the game 'stop' at a certain point?

Presumably at the end!

then you can start again with the same stats similar to mass effect i guess

im playing as brick. loving this atm.. the levels of enemies seemed perfect. i got stuck trying to kill some guy (bonehead or something) so i decided to go for a wonder round skag gully. i found some AWESOME weapons and gained the two levels (just about, i almost died twice if it wasnt for second wind!!) now i can use my newly purchased rocket launcher, so now i think i can defeat this guy giving me grief

cant wait to play later.

edit: bricks special ability, brawl, is awesome too.

Mwaha, that was exactly my plan, too! I'll leave it to you to see how you get on.

I reached level 10 and stopped playing as I think it would be good to play this on PC (have it for PS3 on rental). Out on Steam soon.

i think its gonna be a case of rushing him with the rocket launcher once thats fired off, use brawl and pound the crap out of him
