Borderlands

Got it on pre-order (not dispatched yet), and whilst I've been aware of it, just wanted to see some reviews etc come in. The 30 min co-op vid sold it to me. Unfortunately I don't think it'll turn up until next week, which is a shame becuase I fancy playing it.
 
had a chance to play it a little at work yesterday. Awesome game, definately a purchase for me on friday although its going to be fighting for my time with forza 3.

co-op looks interesting & should be a good laugh

It's tough as well, I got given a mission as a level 7 where the guys were level 11. Got my ass handed to me several times so had to sod off and come back when I levelled up to finish it.

Enemies scale to your level iirc so while some are really tough, others are easy but you'll never be short of hard enemies.

Anyone up for some coop action tomorrow night?
 
really enjoyng it, there doesnt seem to be much of a story line and the the bad guys resporning every time to re enter an area can be pain in the backside but overall its pretty good.

As mentioned its damn tricky sometimes, especally if you get ideas above you station and try and tackle a tricky mission before you level up.
 
Really enjoying this so far. I think I am level 13, but yeah I tried a couple of missions listed as hard/tough and got my *** handed to me!

However, when you level up, they start to be listed as normal.

Guns! I can carry 3 now and have a SMG that I got as a reward, pretty good all round with a nice scope. I have a BEAST of a shotgun. Has a slow fire rate and needs a reload after two rounds, but takes most things down in one go. Also have a Distant Sniper, which again is slow to fire/reload, but good god, it is powerful! Making Skaggs explode from half a mile is fun!

I just wish I could carry more stuff! I have found loads of cool stuff, but have to leave some behind.

Thinking about it, only got this yesterday and I have already put a silly amount of time into it and I can't wait to finish work for some more action tonight!
 
Anyone up for doing Sledges hideout? I'm level 13 and I'd like to try the co-op. :)

Depending if they've got an entertainment section they'll have them out at midnight. Might be queues because PES10 is out tonight as well.

I'm just going to wait till tomorrow to get this and Forza! Woo
