It's finally happened and I didn't think it would, I'm bored of gaming. After 7 months of gaming whenever I could I really can't be bothered to play anymore. It's crazy as I still the love the games I've got but lately everytime I sit infront of the pc I end up surfing the web for a bit before going and watching a movie or going to the pub.

Has anyone else been like this, got to a point where you are sick of gaming or am I just wierd? :o

Yep I’m kind of like this at the moment, I just can’t be bothered. Sick of BF2, CS and there doesn’t really seem to be any games out just now that have caught my attention.

I’ve actually been doing Uni work

CSS is a good laugh when theres are bunch of you over someones house all taking it in turns whilst drinking beer (mini lan etc).

BF2 got bored of quite easily.

Nothing else is that appealing, jumped to my Gamecube the other day and played Res Evil 4, which I enjoyed untill I completed it.

Glad this year only has one decent title comming out (Oblivion) means I can concentrate on uni bits.

I had this, bought a load of games up until 2003, then bought only Dawn Of War that I actually enjoyed, but the last month I have started getting back into games again.

Just depends what else is going on that is more interesting at the time.

I know exactly what you mean, I have quite a few games around that I've never really "been bothered" to play. Waste of money really I suppose.

Yeh i got it when i went to uni, and i didnt want to play games really... Now that things have settled down a bit im getting back into it..

But only xbox 360.. thats revitalised it somewhat..

been a bit like this since oct/nov, guess CoD2 and the fact it was sooooo dire meant i couldnt be bothered to play. Its still a console game and far to fast paced compared to the old CoD.
Slowly getting back into it now though and enjoying the odd match, esp S&D with 2 min round lengths.
Got Red Orchestra pre-loaded so hoping that this will get me back into gaming.

It was pretty much COD2 that killed it for me. I loved the original so much and could play all night and into the early hours chatting and having a laugh on TS with other members in my clan, but I really do not like COD2 mp, tried it and it felt wrong. Although I am playing a bit of pro evo 5 every now and again and now understand what Souness was feeling while he was still with Newcastle :(

Sometimes when I think of playing Battlefield 2 I will hesitate and remember the amount of time it takes to load the game, find a decent server, wait for a slot, load the game, press the okay button, try and get on the team I want and then finaly start to play.

Sometimes its just not worth it.

On BF2 that whole process to get 2 people into a decent server takes all of 4 minutes usually :p

Getting 4/5 people onto a half decent server on the same team mind, now that is a challenge!

Yeah im the same ever since the NGE for SWG came along i havent been able to get into games tried: WoW , f.e.a.r , bf2, cs source , dod source.

I just resort to browsing the web & listening to music now :(

at the moment no games have gripped me, thats just the games really thought i think ... been a lot of dissapointments recently and nothing has really filled the void

which is a good thing right now as i have plenty of other stuff i should be doing instead

still will always be waiting for an amazin tactical fps though

This is why I like having an alternative platform for gaming. I've been pretty bored with PC games of late (apart from Q4 multiplayer) but the Nintendo DS has had me hooked - MarioKartDS and Mario64DS are fantastic and nothing like PC gaming.....they're such a breath of fresh air, to use an old cliche. However, next week I'll be getting Oblivion for the PC and hopefully that'll have me hooked. I can usually manage to avoid total games burnout by having a combination of PC/console/handheld.....but even then I do occasionally get bored and turn to Scrabble or Suduko :)

I don't like new games. It's like someone has managed to destroy all that made multiplayer gaming good :(

That'll be the 14 year old prats (either physically or mentally) who seem to think the only fun to be had is by spoiling the game for anyone else

i go thru this every few months, have break then come back to it works for me, that and i start spending too much money in the pub ! :D

Oh. Thanks for that. Not all 14 year olds like to ruin games. Engage brain before pressing Submit...
