bored of gamming help!

I find that playing a game that caters for a different approach (a strategy game over a FPS for example) helps revive interest in gaming as a whole. From here, your enthusiasm for FPS will return after a short while.
 
played guildwars for about a year bored of that i am in the middle of uninstalling some games just cant decied what to leave on.
 
Personally I can never find enough games that are good and last a long time to make me get bored of them, most days these days it seems you wait 2 - 4 years for a game, only to complete it in 1 day. MMORPG's are the only exception :)

I have been looking forward to TF2 a lot, so I will probably Buy, I might give fortress Forever some more play time. If I like that I will like TF2 right? or are they very different?

I became bord with CoD2 after 9months, but I've had BF2 for a year now and still enjoying the same as the day I got it :)
Think I'l be giving TF2 a go when it comes out in shops in a months time.

I'm the same, I drift in and out of it, but it hasn't been the same in a long time :mad:
And I've taken up lots of hobbies instead, but I still wonder why the PC magic is dying :(
 
Weird, this has been happening to me too lately. Just ain't all that interested in gaming, and I've been a big gamer since about '93 or so... I have a number of recent games (bioshock, supcom, nwn2) that I haven't played all that much and that I *should* be into but just can't seem to.

It's scary, someone help. :-(

(PS: this is only half tongue in cheek ;-) )
 
I dont play games that much these days either cos im bored a lot and have no motavation to play them for more than 10 mins etc. I blame the net, i like forums too much hehe. I would probably play miles more if i had no access to the net as games would be all i have left to do on th pc. Then again it could be im just growing out of gaming as im 25 now And too much gaming from when i was very young to now is probably catching up to me and getting sick of it all. Theres something rumored to be outside my flat but i still dare not venture to see whats out there. :p

i'm the same i just feel like there nothing right now that can grab my attention...

last game i completed was the new zelda on the wii, however i've no doubt metal gear 4 and gran turismo 5 on the ps3 will drag me back into gaming kicking and screaming :D - put pc games? i still think the best game of the last 4 years or so is warcraft 3 :rolleyes:

(EDIT: oh, and live for speed ;))

if i'm on the pc these days, i'm much more likely to be dabbling in photoshop with my shiny new graphics tablet :p

Thing is variety....Guild wars (Prophecies, Factions, Nightfall, Eye of the North) lots to get into, Day of Defeat Source, bit of CS:S, Little bit of Bioshock (only 1 hour so far) ET QW (sucks at times) looking forward to TF2....and of course, keep all in context with RL ;)
