One of my friend's checked herself and her boyfriend in at "M25, between Junction 7 and 8". A few hours later, she checked in at "Mummy's house with my boyfriend" or something like that.

People 'check in' by using a GPS signal on their phone to locate landmarks. So by checking in, people know where you are and who you're with.
Sometimes it's kinda cool to do...so if you outside Buckingham Palace or somewhere like that, it makes a good talking point.
But if you tag stupidly like 'Tesco with my Mum'.......

It's pretty pointless. The only time I've ever done it is when I was going into fabric, as it was just that damn awesome.
The people I see checking in TO THEIR OWN BED EVERY NIGHT do not deserve to have a share of the internet
