Came home to a nice suprise too as I had a buyer for the old banger at near enough the asking price so thats going tomorrow.
Took it easy on the way home and after filling up 30 miles from home I pulled up outside averaging an embarassing 42 mpg
I took the guy next door out for a drive and that dropped a bit 
He seemed quite impressed which is high praise considering his daily drive is a 350Z! It was the confidence and stability when pushing on that he said stood out, especially as I'd only had the car for about an hour
