You moaners really need to get a grip, get real, and get a life......

That's the way Boris J is, that's the person Londoners elected. The IOC would not have given London 2012 if they didn't think we could do it. London is one of the world's largest and wealthiest cities, and well well used to hosting massive events.

There are a lot of things that dont seem they are worth the money, if you want to start that conversation think of premiership football.

Not really, I'm assuming you mean the players wages? lots of people want to see a good match for entertainment, so you need good players, now when these players bring in several billion pounds for you, it only seems fair that they get a fair slice of the profit doesn't it?

After all if you earned your boss 1 billion pounds profit, would you be happy with 20k a year?

What player do you know has brought several billions of pounds to any one team?!

Several Billion? You will find a lot of clubs loose profit each year let alone make Billions.

Well it wouldn't be player it would several player, and over the course of a carrera i reckon they will easily earn more than a billion for their respective employers. They will easily bring in several hundred million, but also they must win games, so you keep getting money from the TV companies so you need the best, so you need to pay a lot to get the best.

I dont think theres one team in the world that can make that amount of money.

I dont think theres many players who can make there teams "several hundred million" theres many teams who have players that i aint ever heard of! So how is that player gonna make that team money if people dont know them? People Like Ronaldinho and Beckham will make that kind of money for there team, but theres a lot of players who wont ever get a chance to do that as they are just **** :D

A team has to make money, and a lot of teams struggle to do such a thing, look at my beloved Leeds... They couldnt scramble anything together until our new chairman came along.. They were a premiership team but i dont think theres one player who made the team hundreds of millions, if so id like to know where that money went because it certainly wasnt reinvested into the club.

Way of topic I know.

So how about how much they make sky sports etc as well ? ;)

But the numbers are beside the point they bring in the money for their pay (combined with sponsorships etc)

Yeah I don’t think anybody can deny the fact they bring in money to the club but its no way near billions, anyway this isn’t about football :D

I agree to an extent the logo looks pants for £200k worth, you would think they could design something more British.

We don't know what the design brief was. How can we say whether or not 200k is justified. Design agencies don't come cheap.

Having said that, I think a lot of what comes out of most of these professional agencies (not just advertising) isn't worth the money it commands. For the record, I feel the same about football, not that that's relevant to this.

Boris was and IS absolutely brilliant. More personality in his pinkie than the rest of the faceless fake-smiling politicians

Boris for PM tbh. :D
