Is Ahleckz beer entry valid?

I think the name of the beer should appear on the poll to show why it's disputed!

Does the poll set the precedent for being able to use words/phrases that can't be posted on the forum in the name? That changes the way my vote goes...

Well I still don't see the need for a poll on it, you have stated that entries have to fall within the forum rules. Which this doesn't as **** is not able to be posted on the forum.

Then you over-ruled yourself and allowed it, but still maintain that entries have to fall within the forum rules?

The debate has only stemmed from changing the decision and I still have no idea why one entry with a sweary (in forum terms) in the name is ok but another has been ruled out for containing a sweary (in the same forum terms)

We're not going over all this again. You had your say yesterday, and plenty of it. Either vote or don't vote. Frankly I don't give a .....

Fair enough - it seems bizarre to have a poll about something where you have changed your mind and not applied the same judgement across the board.

I don't think it merits a poll, only a clear explanation of the rules we are supposed to operate within

It's not even my beers that are up for question!

If you ask for comments on your decisions, expect some comments on your decisions, if you don't want comments or can't explain them - just say that the decision is final
 
I voted no.

As much as I concur it is a body part, I also agree that the rules from the start of any round were that they had to fall within the forums rules with exception of round X.

If the drink in question was about a male chicken it would be zero points, so it is clear on what it is referring to and round X is specifically for these rule breaking entries.

It seems against the spirit as this all in "good bants" but if it gets to the nitty gritty that is the side of the fence I fall down on.

DJ, for clarification, as this weeks round is suspended, do we have till Saturday 20th to get our entries in, or do they still need to be sent by this week and the results will be delayed?

Originally I asked people to enter their IPA round as normal.

It really doesn't matter, IPA results will be next Saturday.

Seriously? It is supposed to just be for fun, including for DJ. There's no indication he's biased, and he's listened to explanation and changed his decision where appropriate, a route that's still open.
