So at the end of August I bought a Street triple R 2013 model with ABS, 545 miles on the clock, first service just carried out, it was like new pretty much.

Up Brecon Beacons a few weeks ago;

I have just fitted an SC project GPM2 exhaust

http://www.sc-projectshop.com/prodotto_dett.php?id=295#.VCszRPldVZs

Its a slip on, I ordered it direct from Italy, it took just under 2 weeks from ordering to delivery. Its a mighty fine exhaust and looks far better than the "official" Arrow. Conversion from Euros saw it cost £330 delivered.

It sounds fantastic, It crackles and pops when you are off the throttle, nice deep sound. Though without the baffle it's stupidly loud so the baffle is staying....For now....

Here it is now with 1250 miles on the clock.

I am loving the bike, I sold my 2005 zx10r (PC3 with custom map, full akra, quickshifter putting out 3 dyno results of 161, 162 and 168bhp at the rear wheel) in May and I do not regret it for a second. I can feel like I am caning this without doing silly speeds akin to the zx10r! For the road I don't want anything else.

All in all, love it

Cheers

Mike

Nice bike and if I were shorter I probably would have had one but I look stupid sat on one.

To be fair I look stupid all the time not just on bikes.

Best bike I've ever ridden, I think they look great in red/white. Would still prefer to *own* the speed though :)

I love my 2012 Street Triple, they're fantastic bikes!

They look daft after 2012 though without the twin exhausts :(

If you want a daft triumph triple then look no further than the trident hurricane lol.

Nice bike but I prefer the look of the original pipe tbh. The aftermarket you have fitted looks out of character with the rest of the bike to me. Eye of the beholder I suppose.

I personally love the way it looks compared to the stock can,
I tried to take a video and sound recording with my moto g but it sounds nowhere near as loud or as good on the recording, must have a poor quality mic.

But here is someone elses sound clip of the SC Project can

I have serious bike envy right now. I really want a Triple I just cannot justify it as a commuter and have no room at the moment for a second "fun bike"

I like the look of the new can, its not something everyone else is going to have. Tbh I dont really like the look of the new style stock exausts on most bikes

the style of the zx10r's 04/05 will take some beating imo

but they are boring to ride, love the style of the triple also and the unique sound

I am of the same mind, hence going for something more traditional.

Not sure I'd call the zx10r boring to ride, it's mental fast, though that was the problem, it was too fast to have any real fun on the road. Red line it in first and it will do 104mph, ban territory in every gear, so if you mean boring in that sense then I see what you mean.

If on the other hand you want power wheelies in first and second gear without really trying, and you want the bars to get light and twitchy over every bump during wide open throttle in 4th, then you will probably love the 10r haha, but unless you want to go 120mph+ everywhere I don't see the point. Unless of course you're on track then it will be more at home

you'll find you'll have more fun on the triple

zx10r is very fast but yeah you cant really enjoy it on the road, and out n out speed becomes boring after a while

Love the look of street/speed triples, especially your colour and also the black and red. But they are made for manlets, I would look silly and be uncomfortable on one:(
