Boxing Day Football **SPOILERS**

Great goal but Man United are not that convincing at break down teams.

Stoke are quite difficult to break down, they absolutely packed their box and held their defensive lines very well. Can't say United didn't deserve that, though Stoke put up a damn good fight, credit to them for actually giving van der sar a bit to do in that game. A lot of lower teams like Fulham, Newcastle etc would've probably parked the proverbial bus and been happy with 0-0. Not that Stoke wouldn't have taken 0-0 mind you, but they gave it a good go, United were just better tbh.

It's a win, that's the most important thing. And as for Rooney being sent off, it wasn't that harsh. Cresswell was swinging his arm all game, even after he'd been booked for it in the first half. Still, the team that tried to play won in the end and that's the most important thing. Hope Fabio's ready to play at leftback as we'll need him for the next few games.

PS. Come on Bolton!

Kicking out while on the floor probably.

Never kicked out. Slammed his foot down, but the player wasn't there. It was petulant, but he never hit or intended to hit the player. That's like saying a player should be sent off for slamming a ball down or throwing an arm in disgust at a referee's decision.

LOL @ Hull. Brown making the side stay on the pitch during half time :D

I think he just made Robert Mugabe look like a kitten. That man was seriously angry! Sounds like City should be 6-0 up at least here, I'm expecting a record tbh.

You're right it would be. But that's not what happened. He kicked out at the player = sending off.

take you're blinkers off, Messi was kicked repeatedly ...Ronaldo goes down like a $2 hooker if a blade of grass touches him.

Ronaldo is kicked constantly too. I'm not the one who has the blinkers on. At least I can see they both do. Let us not forget, the man was sent off today for going through the back of Ronaldo today. He took 3 or 4 strong tackles from behind today as well as being doubled up on.

As for blinkers, it's not blinkers to point out the fact he went and complained in the media, which is what I pointed out. I'm sorry if having blinkers is knowing what I'm talking about.

A) His leg came down, not out.
B) Kicking out has never been a straight red. Players always only seem to get booked.

If ronaldo wasnt sent off then vieira against RVN a few years back shouldnt. I dont really care as you've got the 3 points all my point is that ref's are inconsistent and no1 can argue with that!

Also look back he makes contact. without a doubt (i just checked on sky+)

Keane :D

Hitting form now and can only get better.

The Liverpool supporters who said he was **** and not good enough for us can go **** themselves :)
