Isn't that just a Gen 2 thing?

I think I prefer the Gen 1 lights anyway, not too sure about having all red rear lights myself.

Not sure if they are standard on Gen 2's but they are certainly an option on Gen 1's. I'll take some pics of mine when I finally find my camera, the iphone doesn't really do it justice.

I thought they were just part of the facelift across the Boxster and Cayman (i.e. free!), they're an option?

I def prefer the red lights

No idea, I just know it was the highest spec Cayman our local OPC had sold at that point, he got it close to 60k as I recall which I told him was mad at the time but he can afford it. Sold now anyway, as was his RR Sport to be replaced with a brand new RR Sport last week and possibly another bit of Pork for the weekends. I did offer him my Gen 2 GT3 order but I think he's a bit to safe these days.

They are an option on 987.1s as of 2008, and are also included in the sport package

My father is a very young 66, but I'm not sure the colour of his rear light clusters were top of his requirements when he ordered his Cayman...

Yeah, they're the latest ones. I'm still undecided to be honest.

I'll take a proper look next time I'm at the Porsche main dealer

The wing and bumper profile look completely different

Looking at the Boxster with the red lights I don't think they looks so good, I prefer the look on the Cayman but I'm not so sure about the Boxster.
