I believe the 981 3.4 in the same engine as the base 991, just slightly down on bhp. I really do think the 981 S is the best 2 seater convertible for ~£60k available at the moment.
Indeed, but the thought of buying the lowest end saddens me. If I was going to go Porsche I would do it properly.
Another way of putting this is why did you buy the low end 350z, should have purchased a GTR.

This is why a lot of people fit GT3 throttlebodies, plenums and exhaust to the Boxsters/Caymans, results in 345-355BHP area.

114mph crossing the quarter mile with 315bhp is very quick for the power..
I've never understood the neg about the Boxster, I think it's a stunning looking car.
