Bravo

At the OP.

Thanks for taking the time to update interior pics as I requested. This is now under serious consideration, although I will have a good sniff at the build quality (bend gearknob!) and the boot space may need to be measured.

Thanks muchly.

No worries, still impressed by it 4 months on. Mum's just brought one as well (a 90bhp version though) in black on a 57 plate and it's really nice too.

Finally got round to getting it on a RR and getting it remapped and a GSR induction kit.

A 1.9 Mjet Grande Punto that came down (Was badged up as an Abarth though). After a new intercooler, remap and induction kit they went from 130bp~ standard to 193bhp. Pretty nice.

A nice little project one of the guys was working on as well.

Was a fun day, despite it taking close to 7 hours (had a few cars on the go). Check out these horrific Corsa's that turned up to the chav place opposite.

Anyway here's the graphs.

2-1.jpg

165bhp standard, up to 180bhp. Not a *massive* increase but the midrange bhp has gone up by nearly 35 at some points and I can feel the difference. Was discussing twin-turboing it which should take it to 250bhp but that seems pretty mad to me.

Looks very nice indeed mate, really liking the looks, to me it rival, and beats (imho) the Focuses in terms of looks, and most 5 door hatches out there, good combination of smooth lines and styling (IMHO!!! ;)) :) You've done good! Will look forward to watching the vids tomorrow! :D

Autofocus, half depress button, let it focus, fuly depress to take picture :p

Looks good though, but:

Add 20 go faster strpes to get those figures ;)

dont think so

The fiat 1.9 Multijet Turbo Diesel is apparently a very tunable engine. Most of the usual suspects reckon they can get +50bhp bhp from a remap alone. So with an uprated intercooler and revised induction as well, it seems perfectly belivable to me.

Its well known how easily diesels remap.

Believable, but spending a grand getting a 60bhp increase in a diesel...no thanks

the BMW diesels dont really get that much BHP, but get a shed load of extra torque, which is what matters in a diseasel :p

6mb of huge images? Have you not thought about compression? Have you any idea how much it can cost to download 6mb over 3g?

No, not at all. I took them on a friends phone copied them to my laptop and uploaded them.

Yeah not the best pictures in the world cause it was a camera phone i'd never used before but ah well.

Cost the fella £695 for that work.

OK, I'll re-phrase that:

Believable, but spending £695 getting a 60bhp increase in a diesel...no thanks

Not a bad price though if that includes labour fitting the FMIC

Next time you upload pictures please open them in Paint first, resize them and resave then. This will make them much smaller. Each of your images are so large the forum auto resizes them, and they are 700kb each. Some of us access the forum using 3g connections where we only get 200-500mb a month. This is more than enough for normal web browsing and normal pictures but it's a bit of a mickey take when 10mb of our allowance is used up with blurred pictures of a Bravo :p

Yeah they got there at 11 and left about 5/6 and Peter was working on them pretty much all that time.

Mine was £380 for the GSR Induction Kit and Remap which I think is good value for money for the increases I got. Considering how much the car cost it's a fraction of the cost to really increase the powah.

I'll remember:D Funny cause I did have them all open in Photoshop to remove any numberplates etc but just kept them the same quality!

I'm impressed if that's the case. Sounded like something coming from a Lax Pooer lad.
