Brazilian Grand Prix 2010, Interlagos Circuit - Race 18/19

Bit confused about what created that pole. What exactly has williams got going on there?

Dunno but I wonder if Lotus are concerned about their decision to the Cosworth engine next year?

The williams benefited from the right tyres at exactly the right time at the right temperature.

If he can stay ahead at the start it could make a very interesting traffic jam for the cars further back looking to make up spaces.

not looking at the thread (or even the screen!) for fear of spoilers, but just turned on iPlayer to watch Practise three and then Quali but P3 is not on there. I do wish the beeb would make their minds up. Sometimes they put it up, others they don't.

Pleased to see a Walliams on Pole.
Would be nice to see Schumacher on the podium tomorrow too, just to let people know that he is back.

I do hope Alonso comes off at the first corner. The cheating crybaby.

On a dry track you have to think the Redbulls will be passed that Willams pretty quick. 1st corner will be interesting with Hulkenberg leading them into it.

I wonder how worried Rubens is now after seeing what Hulkenberg just gave us!!!! Barrichello will be seriously kissing boots to secure his seat at Williams next year.

Brilliant from Nico. Pity Kubica held up Lewis, I think he'd have second otherwise. Should be a good race

So glad it wasn't an RB onetwo. Rain has made the last few races immensely entertaining. I love rain! It's just a shame you can pretty much guarantee that Williams will be eating RB exhaust fumes by the second lap, no doubt about that. I just hope Webber gets a better start than Vettel!

ah right i didnt think it was. hopefully Abu Dhabi will be HD then or atleast next season. it was in 5.1 for the sound tho?

Abu Dhabi won't be in HD since the world feed isn't made with HD cameras. That is supposedly coming next year at long last.

Another reason BBC HD would have looked better (and why I've wanted them to broadcast on that all year) is that with an HD signal comes greater bandwidth even if you don't upscale it. When I'm at work and manage to get an SD feed from BT Tower to watch the football it looks almost as good as the HD you'll get on Sky or Virgin at home because it hasn't had the life compressed out of it. So much detail is lost trying to get it to peoples homes that even an SD F1 on the HD feed would look a lot better than normal.

Really glad to see Williams are doing well towards the end of this season, everyone likes the team and its easy to understand why. The hulk knows he's going to have Vettel and Webber all over him but as has been mentioned previously Vettels strong point isn't overtaking. Since he wont let Webber past without a fight we may see a bit of a Hulk Train.

I think Williams probably went from a more wet set up in the hope of getting higher up the pecking order, eventhough we are expecting a dry race tommorow. A gamble that paid off, yes the track gets better with each lap that passes but he was over a second faster, that is surely down to using a wet set up........?

On a personal note I hope the vettel smashes into the hulk, picks up fernando and hamilton looses his wing, allowing that handsome man webber to go on a and win:D
