BBC apparently reported (heard this via a friend on FB) that the board was flashing in error, and so there will be no penalty.

I don't think you can really say that Vettel's luck is purely why he's likely to win the championship, luck can happen to anyone and any team.

What waved yellows?

Someone suggested it was because they were out for slippery track, but that would be yellow and red striped flags? I'm pretty sure they were yellows out, but haven't seen another replay since then. Either way, interestingly little mention of it, they've talked about it briefly 2-3 times maybe.
