next years cars should be better suited to wet racing. wider contact patch on the tyres too.

i think he has deserved to win it.. what was lewis' excuse when rosberg utterly trounced him in singapore for example? even if lewis had more reliability problems... didnt lewis have reliability on his side in 2014 abu dhabi which cruelly put rosberg out of the championship ? winning 8 races and some of his performances this year have been outstanding.

Yeah but Hamilton was fairly comfortably leading the Abu Dhabi race in 2014, Rosberg's reliability issues there didn't really affect the championship.

Rosberg has done well this season and Hamilton has been poor in certain races, it would just be nice if the reliability part of the equation wasn't so skewed.

No, Hamilton was winning the race and went into the race with a lead and had significantly more reliability problems throughout the year.

Seriously, you're just trolling now right? The double points and Rosberg's failure changed the size of the winning margin, it didn't change that hamilton was going to win and if they had comparable reliability in qualifying and races throughout the year Hamilton would have won by a MUCH larger margin.

That's just my option, he hasn't earn it. If he wins this race, it will go some way to earn some credibility. However, as above what is Lewis goes on to win more this season isn't that a moot point.

Hamilton is in a different league to Rosberg, but thats F1 you cannot have everything.

No big deal if Rosberg lucks a championship, I am sure hamilton will be back next year.

When you take out the 4 races/sessions in which Hamilton had a car failure in qualifying or Spa which they took the penalty to make up for those failures. Hamilton has smashed Rosberg 11-5 in qualifying and 8-5 in races.

Include Hamilton's engine failure in Singapore and it's 8-4 in races, in Bahrain Bottas hit Hamilton in t1 at a track and race Hamilton dominates, that would make it 9-3(most likely).

Rosberg hasn't been remotely close this year, he's had one bad luck incident where he got hit in Singapore, and then Hamilton's engine failed giving him a 28 point swing iirc, so still ended up great for Rosberg.

That doesn't even include Rosberg smacking Hamilton TWICE this year.

if rosberg wins it he will deserve it simply because he won it! people bark on like its childs play or something. its just cringe worthy. winning f1 races is a big deal and not as easy as it sometimes looks.
