F1 has always been about what happens on the day, not the ifs or buts, the only thing that matters is the result at the end of the race/season, you can argue till you're blue in the face, but its inconsequential.
I dont think there is any argument who the better driver has been between the two of them, but the best driver dosnt always win the championship purely on that merit.
