They'll be showing this race from Max in the years to come as when he came of age. One of the best drives I've ever seen in an F1 race.

once again lewis has built up 8 seconds over Rosberg. i get that as 34 seconds overall in about 30 laps.

I'd imagine that's because Rosberg is happy to finish 2nd. Why would he push to match Hamilton?

I would love to see Verstappen and Hamilton at Mercedes next year, setting fire to the track every race. I can see why RB gave Max a race seat rather than risk losing him to another team.

Well before he was at risk to falling behind Verstappen (which he did) and Ricciardo. Don't think he was taking it easy back then.

So does Ricciardo though and where is he? His pace is what others were achieving earlier with the same tires, the difference is his overtaking, the lines, the not getting stuck behind drivers repeatedly.

As someone else said, he was losing out second despite having a pretty large car advantage, he was only saved from it by a bad tire call. If RBR pitted onto wets rather than inters, they'd both be ahead of Rosberg right now.

Rosberg isn't taking it easy, his pace throughout has been bad and but for a that inters call for RBR he'd be in 4th. He also got embarrassed by Verstappen nabbing second off him from out of nowhere.

Lewis , Driver of the day, not one dodgy moment, so many starts and pulling on the whole field.

Vest did great but Lewis was sublime .. I expect this means a lot to him
