Perez let him past without a fight with the understanding that if Verstappen couldn't catch anyone else, he'd give the place back to help Perezs fight for P2 in the Championship.
Its an awesome maiden win for George, but that was a tit-move by Verstappen at the end for literally nothing. He gained nothing but took points from his team mate.
Yeah if Perez didn’t do what he did in Abu Dhabi last year I don’t think Max would have won his championship
George has been great this season. If Merc are ever in it for the championship, I think he’ll have the edge over Ham.

Yep what a talent! I see him as the biggest threat to Max going forward. I certainly wouldnt count out Lewis as long as he is driving but George is an amazing talent.
Great drive, did all he had to! drove a faultless race and sprint. Yes he binned it in Qually but I can let that slide. Best driver of the weekend as far as I see it!

I think when it matters, on equal cars, Hamilton has the edge. We've seen it play out in races.

So something happened before Summer that Max wasn't happy with in regards to Perez. Monaco is the current most likely reason. Hopefully we find out more before completely making Max guilty but Max definitely owes Checo a lot surely.

Do we have proof either way ? Next season is shaping up to be interesting, Lewis getting rid of Max at the start helped Russell what a team mate lol
