Best moment of the sprint race: Vettel’s radio message after Stroll shoved him onto the grass.

”Ok” must mean “So, you have chosen violence…” in German.

Many are saying it's a great sprint because it had some overtaking and excitement, but surely that is the what you want in the race, which now is unlikely to happen to as much since many of the cars will be in in order of speed. Fortunately for the show, Max didn't do great so seems like we'll get to see Max, Russell and Lewis fight the win with Ferrari doing their best to give Sainz a bad strategy.

Surprised we haven't heard "which one was that again" broadcast. They'll need a NFL style playbook on their sleeve before long

I know RB have given up for the season etc etc but Merc have made great strides comparing to where they were first half of the season, if they can fully get this car concept working in 2023 who knows if it will end up being the right way to go….
I don’t understand the Red Bull have given up development narrative. That would make sense if there was a fundamental change to the regs next year but, there isn’t. The upgrades Mercedes have brought can be brought into next season and they are getting excellent data on its effectiveness before then.

Yeah it’s not that RB have slipped later in the season. Merc are now regularly beating Ferrari as well. It’s them on the up, rather than RB in the down. Good news for Merc fans, surely.

The only thing that seems unbeatable is the RB straight line speed.

No way they stopped development (unless they worried about breaking budget cap again) but I think they're now happy to re-use parts/ not stress the parts as much and loose bit of performance rather than fit brand new ones.

Leclerc and Sainz are sat up all night learning plan E to Z

They never bother with learning A to D cos they never work ;)

:D How far down the alphabet do we think they’ve have actually gone?

Presumably someone in Maranello has some alphabetti spaghetti and a strategy guide on standby.

Great race, p
Oooof... "This one wasn't manipulated by anybody. Someone made a decision for that result to be the way it was."
i noticed that, I think it’s the first time I’ve heard Lewis specifically say that.

/edit - this isn’t a grid walk, where’s Martin?

Isn't it too far from the grid to the commentary box? I might be wrong, but sure that's the reason, that has been given previously.

Yes, that's true. Still don't like the format for that reason even if this weekend's was fun.
