We've recently lost the kneeding paddle from my girlfriend's bread machine. The machine is very old (10+ years I reckon) so replacing it is going to be difficult and it's about time for a new one anyway.
I've been looking at reviews etc. and it's difficult to decide what's best. The most popular at the moment seems to be the Panasonic SD255, but there are a couple of tihngs that turn me off.
SD255 Pros:
- Fruit and nut dispencer
- Can make different sized loaves (up-to XL)
- Highly thought of (presumably makes nice bread)
SD255 Cons:
- Price. I'll spend £94 if I have to, but something cheaper would be nice.
- Size. Looks very big, and our kitchen is full of stuff already. And the size isn't any benefit, with only two of us we don't need to make giant loaves.
I know there must be loads of Overclockers here who like their freshly baked bread. Any recommendations?
