Breakdancing proposed as a sport for the Olympics

I’m all for it, if:

1. Competition takes place in a high-density minefield

2. Starved, HIV+ honey badgers are released into the competition area at random intervals

3. Spectators are allowed to shoot arrows at the competitors using 6’ English yew longbows

Rhythmic gymnastics and figure skating are allowed. I don't know whether or not they should be, but I don't see breakdancing as different.

All for it, anyone who thinks not is just a droid.

I did a fair bit of windmilling back in the 80s myself :) great to see the urban youth still at it.

Can put in whatever they like. Have an Olympic reacharound competition if you want.

I wasn't going to watch it before and I'm not going to watch it after hearing this. It's about the same level of interest to me as Eurovision.

Can't understand why people even care. Let alone the people who dedicate the best years of their lives to throwing a big metal ball as far as they can.

Humans are *** weird.

That's the most sensible thing I've read all day.
I back your campaign. Hopefully the British team will get, say, erm £50M to cover their training from the public purse.

Tug of war was an Olympic event in the early 1900's.....if we include egg and spoon race then surely obstacle course has to be considered too?

Not much different to floor routines in gymnastics or ice dancing in the winter olympics. It's really a none story this one.
