Breaking Bad Season 4

I love Hank's character, will be really interesting how things pan out:

I think he's going to piece it together before the rest of the force do, but will he arrest Walt or end up 'breaking bad' himself?

Also I wonder who will end up getting poisoned! Jesse probably wont have to use it on Gus, maybe it will eventually come back to Walt in several episodes time.

How many episodes in this season? Don't want to look it up as I don't want to know the name of the episode or read any of the preview for it.

12, right?

13 episodes

I don't think the poison will be used at all. The Cartel will play a part in Gus' going "under" at some point I reckon.

Jesse's performance in the last episode was outstanding. Definitely deserves some recognition for his acting.

Looks like Hank just blew this case wide open. How is Gus going to explain himself out of this one?..

Has the latest season been slow or what its like 5-6 episodes of pure filler ? Look at the first seasons almost every episode was edge of seat stuff now it seems their leaving the best to last dragging out the story as much as possible since season 5 will be the final season have to hope for no filler .

Filler? Are you completely oblivious to character development?

Don't equate slow burning with "filler". There has been plenty of slower episodes throughout all of Breaking Bad.

Character development is so much more complex this season.

If Aaron Paul does not win an award for that episode there has been a criminal injustice. Just wow.

Did it cross anyone's mind that one or both of the DEA officers Merkert and Gomez might have a criminal relationship with Gus?

That's an interesting thought and puts a curious twist to my first thoughts about how things may go down!

My thinking is Guss will find out via those agents tipping him off and Hank will undergo some bad times (maybe).

Every episode has been excellent. Its not a fast paced action series.

Its going to be interesting how they tie this with the next season.

Someone has to die at the end of this season.

Orrrrr knowing how painfully they end shows, it'll end the season with Hank knowing just who exactly Walt really is.

Don't think I can wait a year if that happens. :(:(:(:(

I don't think he would. Jesse would figure it out and might take it into his own hands though...

Almost certainly. I'm not even sure he'd think too long about out, such as he's sunk so far.

Don't see it. I could see him maybe keeping him hostage or something because he just doesn't know what to do with him. He has been his biggest case for years and he is his brother in law. Thats a lot to deal with.

Its gotta happen though.

Anyone else getting annoyed with Walt's character these days? He started out as a bit of a ***, but someone with good intentions, who you could sympathise with. Now he's just slowly becoming a full blown p***k, someone I just couldn't care less about.

Really hope they have something up their sleeves, because it's not going to be long untill I wish Hank just goes rambo on the whole lot of them (including Skyler and Walt Jr) as I just don't give a toss what they do anymore, apart from Hank, who is still awesome.

Was going to post the same. Its really good story telling at how different Walt has changed. He is the bad guy in all of this, no worse than Gus. He is a murderer, lets not forget that. Jesse is too but under different circumstances.

Its also interesting how much Jesse has changed.. Remember him from season 1. :p

I like the way Walt has changed. There's a lot of thought gone into how much killing someone and doing everything else he's done would change a person, if he was as much of a wimp as in S1 then he'd have been dead or in jail a long time ago.

Also, end of episode 7 was just immense, can't wait to find out what Hank's next step is going to be!
