Not a chance. Theres no way they would do it that way. They would atleast show it.. and if he did, i doubt he would stick around... plus, he has kids that would be put in danger and I am pretty sure Gus has other hitmen working for him.

Plus, Mike gets paid by Gus. Its not like soneone like Mike can get another job.

Spoilers on episode 3

Pretty weak episode but we are finally getting close to Hank finding out everything now that he has the meth lab notes.

Walt and Sky now own the Car wash after an entire season talking about it. lol.

Jesse has lost and is no longer sane. Will probably end up do something stupid.

Highlight for spoileriness:
Yeah, Jesse is seriously off the rails. I can see him organizing some kind of hobo-pitfighting tournament that desperate druggies compete in for loose change for Jesse's amusement. :p The one positive thing is that we haven't seen him do any drugs himself, not once, not even when he was serving up lines of coke for all his friends to snort.
Also, who's that guy outside Jesse's house sitting in a car near the end of the episode, face half in shadow? At first I thought it was that homicide cop who visits Hank, but no, the face is younger. It looked vaguely like Gus but it isn't, no trademark glasses. So, someone we haven't seen before?

Very slow episode other than that, I thought there was going to be more development on the main plotline rather than all these peripheral issues. It's looking likely we'll see some action next week, now that Hank is back on the case, but it's still slower than I've grown accustomed to from this series. My guess is they'll take care of the Gus problem by arranging to lead the police to him by surreptitiously feeding some clues to Hank, it's the only way out I see unless Mike decides his life is also in danger. And it wouldn't be a very intelligent solution, as Gus could still inform on them - unless of course Walt turns himself in, but I don't see him doing that, he'd lose the much-coveted carwash too... Speaking of, will the carwash actually fit into the main plot somehow or is it just a side story?
Incidentally, what with Skylar's recent demonstrations of business savvy I'm thinking she'd be a lot better at dealing drugs than either Walt or Jesse - I reckon they should hire her and go freelance! :D

*SPOILER!!*

Pretty sure the dude in the car was the new guy who replaced Victor earlier in episode two?

Yup, he is the new Victor. Should see more of him in the next episode.

Would like to see more rival gangs in this series. There has to be some other Tony Montana out there that knows who Walt is and wants him to cook for them. You'd think Gus would have Walt kept alittle safer.

Gus doesn't sell locally though, he's a top-level supplier and his main competition was the cartel (and we know what happened to them).

He had those two guys selling on the street in their car, remember? Seems kinda weird though. They can't be making much selling on the street. Gus buys and sells in bulk.

Guess it was just a hook to make the story more interesting.

OH yeah, forgot about them! That's definitely an inconsistency then, as I remember Hank pointing at a map and saying the blue meth all disappeared from the immediate area soon after Gus bought Walt's whole supply.

Unless those guys only sold other drugs? But then why would they consider Combo competition?

I think they only killed Combo because he was selling on their turf.

Watched first 4 episode and its not captivated me like that last three seasons did, its going too slow compared to previous seasons

I felt the same way with season 3. I think season 4 has been excellent so far. It does drag in some parts but I am still loving it. I think the long dragged out scenes is some sort of mechanic to make other scenes seem more exciting.... its to bore you to hell then wham, dude gets whacked. :D

Yeah, but he doesn't know what makes it blue, does he? They hinted at that in the second episode of this season, when Gayle said the same thing. And if a scientist doesn't know, it's unlikely a cop like Hank will.

Have they actually linked the theft of that drum back in season 1 with drugs? I could see them putting two and two together if they realise that it's the reason the meth is blue.

Yeah, he does. He and Gomez had the CCTV tape of two people stealing a barrel of methylamine in series one, because he realised they were making "old school biker meth" by replacing the sudo with methylamine.

Ah ok. I remembered them watching the video, but I didn't recall them doing anything other than laughing at the rather pathetic operation. :p
