US: Breaking Bad Season 5 Part II - The finale.

episode was great cant see hank surviving now  as soon as he made that phone call to his wife it was like his last words see you honey we done it mission accomplished ! so im pretty sure hes a dead man for sure.

jessie probably sneak away but then again because of hanks death and the other officer there's no reason to kill jessie now. hes gunna say they were working on there own and the department wernt involved problem gone police wise.

obviously something to do with the cooking is going to either back fire or someone is going to go back on their word.

very good ending to the episode .

My first thoughts too. But it now seems far too easy, you know the writers will always do the opposite to the obvious.

But I'm still in two minds tbh. Arghhhh this is why it's sooo good! :D

As brilliant as the cliffhanger is, I can't help but feel a bit cheated by that whole firefight. I assume at least one of Jesse/Gomez/Hank is going to wind up dead, but everyone missing for about 2 minutes when they were stood out in the open was a bit ridiculous.

I understand they want to leave a death to next week, but why not just cut it when they all took their guns out, would have been a better ending IMO.

I also reckon the flash forward is Hank taking revenge at the gang, with the ricin probably for Todd.

Let's face it if Hank gets out alive why would Walter have that massive gun at the end. It certainly isn't for Hank or Jessie.

I think that moment he had behind the rock said a lot. So many metaphors. Talk about being stuck between a rock and a hard place etc.

I think his world came crashing down on him behind that rock and that walk up towards Hank, but not totally - when he said "Coward" to Jessie shows that his alter ego Heisenberg hasn't totally left him.

When he pulls out that massive gun in the flash forward obviously means he's going after someone though for revenge. And we all now clearly know this is not going to be any of his family or extended family ("Jessie is like a son to me") so we know it's going to be the neo-nazi's... and there's only one reason he would shed more blood - because they killed Hank and Jessie or at least one of them.

The question is which one is it?

yeah if i was editing i would have probably cut just as guns were pulled or first shot. mid fire fight was bit strange. probably means theyll cut in just before the firefight starts next week. cant see why they would just cut in to walt in the seats.

Even though he's been more of an arse in the last couple of episodes, I'll certainly miss Hank if he's killed in the shootout.

This vid gives me the chills. :o

yep its definitely going to be something with the group who want him to cook .

who is more important jessie or hank i think he regards jessie more like a son and hes closer than hank. as said the show is going to throw a spanner at us as long as its believable its fair to be expected.

the ricin hasn't been so played not to be used someone is going to end up with that :( .

Jesus Christ that video is good. Really emphasises the sheer scale and brilliance of the show in a 10 minute segment narrated entirely by WW's lines in the show.

I am going to miss this tv show! :(

It does look silly but its pretty common for tv/movies to do that to prolong the scene and give it more action.

What I found funny was Hank telling the neo-nazi's to put their weapons down. I don't think so. :D

How is Jesse going to get out of this one? Go hide in the desert? He still has a hit on his head.

I know it's common, and it still **** me off, super poor writing.
Either change it so they are very far apart and have shots go everyhwere.
Change the weaponry to something else.
Don't have a prolonged scene. Have it follow a single bullet out the barrel and cut to credits.
Just a lack of imagination and writing. Just follow the same old rubbish.

My guess:

Hank and Gomey die
Walt and Jessie are forced to work for Todd's uncle against their will
Walt's family are used as collatoral/hostages
They are killed
Walt goes on a spree

Me too! I feel a bit sad that it's going to end. It is an absolutely incredible craftsmanship of a story. If Shakespeare were alive today he would have nothing but admiration for it!

That video is fantastic.

I had almost forgotten about Gus Fring etc, been that wrapped up in Season 5.

Never mind when he first started cooking in the RV etc. Incredible.

It's times like this they should have 2 versions of a next episode. Whatever ends up being the popular guess of what happens next air the opposite one.

Someone told me that the first thing the writers do is sit down and work out all the obvious plots, then bin them.

How true that is I don't know but it's pretty bloody difficult to predict!

Yep it has been quite the journey. Excited to see how the final journey ends, but at the same time I approach it with a sense of trepidation - because I know I am going to mourn the show when it's all over.

often the are various edits then they pick what is best. its not guess work on shows as big as this. probably ten different cuts for all we know. then whittle em down to what works best.

I hope I'm wrong, I just got a feeling that the ending is going to be pants and won't live upto 5 cracking series.
