US: Breaking Bad Season 5 Part II - The finale.

I'm making the Mrs watch it from the beginning, she has just started the pilot!

I'm envious if truth be told.

The thing that puzzles me is this, Ricin or poison in general is a more personal stealthy attack on someones life, you do it in quiet with out the targets knowledge. Big ******* machine gun, pretty much in your face and you know it's coming attack on someones life, you can't sneak it in any place rationally. Clearly two very different methods for very different situations so it isn't a stretch to assume two different intended targets?

The curve ball is, with cancer seemingly not killing him by 52 the ricin is for him, coming back round to choices and his choice of how to go when he has what appears to be nothing left. But that one is out there.

thing that's got me wondering is about the poison (ricin) is its going to be used on someone guaranteed its been very pivotal in plot and he still has it if it wasn't going to be used it wouldn't be shown anymore as it has no purpose.

poisoning is mostly used by women and im wondering if they go deep on this :p ive got a funny feeling that it will mistakenly end up killing one of his family mainly his son sort of a reverse role of what happened to brok kinda payback :( .

Whats everyone's perception of the pace from the show? As Clipsey mentioned 3 episodes left and only now starting to pickup..I swear BB picked up at an intense pace during seasons 1-4 (then again I haven't re-watched since first viewing)

Unless im being reallllly picky :o

I'm afraid it's always been a slow burner in places, particuarly during Seasons 1-2.

Admittedly we've had some staggeringly clever plot/character developments, and dazzling scenes in Seasons 3-4. We were spoilt really.

It's certainly been a story worth telling so far. Up there with the greats. I have a suspicion the ending won't be everyone's cup of tea.

True, but if I could compare breaking bad to a manual gear change...

Season 1: 1st

Season 2: 2nd

Season 3: 3rd

Season 4: 4th

Season 5:.........3rd gear...I was expecting 5th! :p

Still time to go right :)

Season 5 has been great so far, I don't understand the criticism of it, 3 more episodes is plenty of time to sort things out.

Quite agree. I'm sure people would enjoy it more if they didn't try to pick it apart at every opportunity. Lets just wait until it finishes ;)

I completely agree... Someone said the previous episode wasn't very good but I thought it was very good. From the filming, the acting, the story, the pacing and the twists all 10/10.

^^ I Agree, as there are only 3 episodes left, only one show could escalate that quickly and that intensely, Breaking Bad :D
The ending is going to be tough, no matter what happens I'll be disappointed, purely because it means the show is over :(

i'll fill ur holes

Cult TV series Breaking Bad may be ending this month, but there is good news for its diehard fans after a spin-off series was announced.
US network AMC and producer Sony Pictures have revealed that Better Call Saul, based on the character Saul Goodman, has been given the green light.
The one-hour show will be a prequel and tell the story of Goodman, played by Bob Odenkirk in Breaking Bad, before he became the lawyer for Walter White, the series' main character played by Bryan Cranston.

I really thought Hank was gonna get popped at the end. The call he had with Marie felt very much like a 'goodbye' to me.

Having said that they wouldn't just kill him without us seeing it and I doubt it would be at the start of an episode so i'd imagine they will end up fleeing in Walts car. Maybe Gomee will get popped.

Anyway it looks like Walt will be going on the run. The flash forward is roughly a year ahead (as it was his birthday not long ago? I think?) so quite a bit will have happened.

So hard to guess what will happen. The show has had too many twists and turns and references to Walt being so clever that there's got to be a clever ending to it.

No idea whats going on
