So I've just finished the 4th season of Breaking Bad in the last few minutes. Do I buy the 5th season for the next 8 episodes or do I wait for the whole of the last season to be released? Will that even happen? Or will they market the last episodes as season 6?

Season 5 part 1 is on Netflix and they are also streaming the final 8 episodes the day after it airs in the US. Worth a look

I've been watching Breaking Bad on Blu-ray and really enjoying it. I just want to know if there will be a combined season 5 release on Blu-ray or will they release another Blu-ray for it? I.e. should I get what is currently being called season 5 now because there will be, in effect, a season 6 release later, or will there be a single season 5 release later on?

Impressed at how much publicity this is getting. Two articles on BBC News front page, an interview on the Guardian.

The show certainly deserves it but it's strange it never got picked up properly by British TV.

I'd wait and see tbh, they were doing the same thing with The Killing and it was up much quicker than 24hrs. The finale on Sunday aired at say 2 or 3 in the morning our time and was on netflix sometime before lunchtime Monday.

I hope this is something they keep doing with AMC and Netflix as quite a few of my favourite shows are from that channel.
