I seem to be getting a lot question marks. Why is it such a surprising line of thought?
Is it that out of the question to think that a security entity would engage in an operation that would further the requirement for their security entity?
yes it is rather.... leaving aside the morality/far fetched aspect of it all it doesn't even make sense from a business point of view
A security company (assuming that one even is) contracted to provide security for an even such as this would likely be rather large entitly and fairly diverse... This is an annual event and likely represents only a small portion of revenue... risking your entire company to try and increase the revenue you earn for a once a year event isn't particularly feasible.
While there are security 'companies' who use violence in order to charge for security services they tend to do it in low key ways to small business owners... they tend to be run by decedents of Sicilian immigrants.
