Breaking up concrete

cheers ill try it with my old drill.

I have banged in lots of copper nails and tried stump killer solution and even salt but its not seemed to do much on any of the stumps, even after regular use for 2-3 years ! I think ill have to try the drill and saw method.

Small update I did use a reciprocating saw, the Erbauer erb373 on special offer for 54 quid from screwfix and some bosch wood blades for 13 quid

Managed to cut 2 tree stumps up with it, but it did take 3-4 hours and 3-4 blades up. I simply cut V shape or pizza slices from the side of the stump and removed each slab of wood and repeated till their was just a flat base left then did the same on the top cutting in V shapes. Digging around the stump I was able to get deep down in the roots so left no stumps at all.

70 quid for both the saw and blades, but better then giving someone £300 to cut a single stump !

Plus you have the saw for the future
They are really handy when you need to hack something to bits

I used it on a triple layer box we had something delivered in, think it was the dishwasher. It was a lot more resistant than I had considered it could be but cardboard can be quite strong when its almost an inch thick and layers.

Yeah handy tools really well worth the odd 50 quid cheers again for advice saved me a pretty penny !
