US: Breaks during US shows

^
I find that I'm doing the same - I'm yet to start watching Vikings and might just wait until the first ten are done - the second ten will follow in a few months time.

Prefer bing watching also half the time I wait for the entire season and then give it a proper go, but lately am giving some tv shows a good 3-4 eps and if they are not my cup of tea they are ditched since we are spoilt for choice luckerly.

I'm sure it's a bad idea as it loses them viewers. The mid-season break of Gotham: Season 2 has meant I haven't carried on watching, though I would have if it had just carried on. Nevermind, I'll just wait for it to arrive on Netflix.

This is something people will have to get used to. I did years ago. At the end of the day these TV shows are produced in the US/Canada. There are events that hamper week to week viewing the odd time, there are production issues that can cause this as well as filming schedules (For instance Flash/Arrow/LOT are all filmed in the same studio and can have scheduling conflicts)...

I am sure that a lot of people are not watching these shows legitimately so there is no reason at all to be miffed when they have breaks throughout the season.

I don't mind mid season breaks when there is something special happening like Christmas, thanksgiving, superbowl etc. It also isn't so bad when the gap is filled like Carter fills the AoS break. Where is gets ridiculous is where the so called 'mid season break' is actually longer than the gap between series (Suits, I'm looking at you)
