Well yeah breast feeding until 13 is just weird but there is nothing wrong with breast feeding a baby in public, it can be done very discreetly and really shouldn't cause anybody but a right wing religious nutcase any embarrassment at all. :rolleyes:

1. We all have breast
2. Breast were made for feeding babies
3. It's only our society that has "sexualised" breasts
4. Mother milk is best for baby

I could go on ;)

I've got nothing against breast feeding in public, I can't understand why anybody would really...
 
knockers out on the beach is one thing....and great.
But breast feeding just is totally different and i can honestly say ive never thought phwoar. I just think its totally natural and cant understand why anyone would find it offensive.

And also...as a Dad.....if it keeps the bairn happy and quiet then its got to be good!

My wife breast fed our 1st Son for 6 months and is currently feeding our 2nd Son by Breast. She has no issue at all in popping the boy on what ever our location. She is discreet and very little flesh is visible.
On the Sexual thing....
Breasts are NOT and never will be anything more than a food source,
BOOBIES on the other hand and 100% sexual.

What is the recommended period of time that a baby should be breast-fed for?

It’s for baby :p even my friends misuses breasts feeds in front of me and my misuses and out and about there isn’t any problem with it at all people should get a life, the brain-deads. Evolution - rules
