Looking to buy a breathalyser for a few family members as well as myself - any recommendations?

Looking for one that doesn't require those straws if possible, and one that could be used by more than one person...

Ta.

IIRC for one that is reliable you'll be looking at a fair old whack, and for it to be recalibrated on a regular basis.

I'm not even sure if you can buy them as a personal customer, at least not new.

I heard on the news about a month ago that a company has started to release accurate breathalysers.

Have a google around.

I bought one from a garage and it was rubbish. It didn't show alcohol levels, just a green light which I think goes on when your over the limit, although the instructions were indecipherable so I’m not sure. The other issue with the one I bought and others is that the limit was set at 50mg, but the UK limit is actually 80mg.

The lower limit is probably more to be on the safe side.

I have a CA2000, reports say it is accurate but impossible to tell

is probably due for recalibration soon

We have one at work and it cost a lot more than a very high end pc apparently.
